Cheryl C.

Practice Manager

Cheryl has worked with Dr. Brown as the practice manager since January 2009. She came to the Pioneer Valley to attend UMASS Amherst and graduated from the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. She oversees many aspects of running the hospital, including staffing, scheduling, ordering supplies and medications, as well as planning birthday celebrations for each of us! When she's not at work she spends time with her husband, her three Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and three cats.

Kathy S.

Kathy has been here at Dr. Brown's since 2011 and previously worked for a veterinary hospital in Seattle, Washington, where she was employed for four years. She loves to greet every patient that comes in, and she's known for offering special comforts and cookies to our recovering surgical patients. She has a secret recipe for homemade dog treats that our canine patients find absolutely irresistible! She has had several foster dogs over the years that she has ended up holding onto, and she now has three large rescue dogs (and a passion for the larger breeds). When she isn't in the office you can find her walking her dogs or making some of her special treats.

Some of her responsibilities here at the office include being a technician and receptionist, as well as ordering pet food and overseeing inventory. She is very knowledgeable and loves getting to know our clients and patients. Outside of the office, she has been happily married for 25 years and has three children, nine dogs, four cats, and two fish!

Erika N.

Erika started at Dr. Brown's in September of 2016. She is a recent graduate of UMass Amherst, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. A love for animals great and small brought her to work at a veterinary hospital, as she grew up with horses and has been surrounded by dogs and cats her whole life. She is excited to learn more about the ever-changing world of veterinary medicine and enjoys learning new things every day. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and rock climbing.
